Welcome to Faith Academy
News & Special Events
The Apostle Paul said, “Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
Although public schools plan to institute distance learning for the remainder of the school year, we are exploring every possible option for a safe return to more traditional classroom learning in the weeks ahead. As we continue to evaluate information from federal, local, and state authorities, we will make prayerful decisions based on the most current recommendations. At this time, we intend to re-evaluate a return to traditional learning after April 17.
- Spring Break is the week of March 30-April 3. No assignments will be given that week.
- Distance learning will resume April 6. We will be in continuous communication about what this means for your student.
- Our teachers are still producing lessons, interacting with students, answering questions, and grading assignments in order to ensure that our students complete the academic year successfully.
- You may access more information about our response to COVID-19 (including a list of “Frequently Asked Questions”) at www.faithacademy.us.
We are still hopeful that we will see your faces on this campus before the school year ends and that we will be able to hand our seniors their diplomas in the ceremony they have worked so hard toward. In the meantime, remember that we serve a good God, focus on the positive aspects of the extra time at home with your families, and please follow the directives of our state and local leadership.

What about school tuition?
Faith Academy is a tuition-based school. Our teachers and staff are working very hard to provide the best Christian education possible. We know COVID-19 has affected many families. As a result, there have been questions about tuition and tuition payments. Although education is being provided in a non-traditional format, tuition will be due as regularly scheduled. If parents are out of work or experiencing financial hardship, please communicate with administration as soon as possible. We are a “Faith Family”, and we will work with families on an individual basis.
Our school encompasses a student’s entire academic journey, from K3 to 12th grade, so our students have the unique opportunity to grow with us from the very beginning of their education until the end. The family atmosphere at Faith Academy engages our students academically and enriches them both spiritually and socially.
Faith Academy provides opportunities for all of our students to find their place—whether that be through the arts or technology, on a stage or behind the scenes, on the field or in the engineering workshop, serving others or leading their peers, there is truly something for everyone.
Not only do we offer honors, AP, and dual enrollment classes through the University of Alabama, our graduation rate is 100%. Nearly 70% of our students receive scholarship money, and the average ACT score for our college-preparatory students is a 27.
The ultimate mission of Faith Academy is to help our students identify their purpose by learning who they are in Christ, utilizing their God-given talents, and living out their personal callings so that not only do they become successful after they graduate, they also live fulfilled lives.
We offer more than a dozen different sports for both girls and boys at Faith Academy with competition in some areas beginning in the 3rd grade. Students at Faith Academy learn more than simply the rules of the game. Our winning tradition is based upon the principles of teamwork, respect, initiative and honoring God above all else.
Not only do we emphasize academic excellence, but we also focus on spiritual growth. Our students grow through daily Bible classes, chapel services, mission trips, and opportunities to serve within our own community. Our staff meets each morning to pray for our students and serves alongside them at home and abroad.
