Football competes at the 3rd and 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade, middle school, junior varsity and varsity levels.
Not only is Coach Seymour a seasoned coach, but also an experienced teacher, with over fifteen years in the classroom. He currently resides in Mobile with his wife Lori, who also teaches at Faith, and his three children, Maddie (14), Jay (10), and Gracie (7). Coach Applin is a graduate of the University of Mobile where he played basketball for four years. He was named team MVP his senior year. His love for basketball led him to pursue a coaching career, which began at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in 2004. While coaching at Cottage Hill, he led the Warriors to 4 Final Four appearances, 2 State runner-up titles and 1 State Championship. His overall coaching record as a head coach is 112-52. He has also coached at St. Paul’s as well as Randolph School in Huntsville.
Coach Applin was named the Mobile Press Register Coach of the Year in 2005 and the Optimist Club Coach of the Year in 2005, 2007 and 2008. He also led Cottage Hill Christian Academy to a 3A State Championship in Golf.
Faith Academy is very excited about Coach Applin taking over the basketball program. We believe he will carry on our tradition of excellence and be a strong Christian role model for our young men.

2010-2011 was our first year to have swimming at Faith Academy. Even with the newness of the program, the team did great, and they represented Faith Academy well.
