Summer Program
Faith Academy basketball has an intense six week summer program for grades 7-12 that begins on the first Monday in June. All levels compete in city summer leagues during the months of June through early July in addition to attending various team camps. Individual skill development is stressed on all levels as grades 7-12 practice 3-4 times per week for six weeks. Practices are voluntary and are held Monday – Thursday from 1-4 p.m. All grade levels in 9-12 begin weight room strength and conditioning sessions during the summer off-season program and lift year round. The primary goal of the summer off-season program is to instill a work-ethic and mindset in each player that if success is the desired result of the individual and team, hard work and time investment is a MINIMUM prerequisite.
Faith Academy is a member of the AHSAA and competes on the 5A level.
